Purpose

Information Technology Council (ITC) is a council of the Faculty Assembly with student representation. Is responsible to review, make recommendations and promote IT-related initiatives that are critical to the core mission of the University – teaching, advising, learning and research. The Information Technology Council (ITC) is a subcommittee and reports to the Information Technology Steering Committee (ITSC). The ITC subcommittees will provide recommendations regarding strategies, priorities, policies, and standards for campus computing to the ITSC.

The ITC has been created to ensure that technology services important to faculty and students are considered throughout the University and to enable the faculty and academic areas to participate directly in providing strategic direction in technology decision-making for campus.

  • The council will make recommendations regarding the awarding of Technology Innovation Program (TIP) grants.
